Douglasville Farmers and Artisans Market, LLC will foster land stewardship, good health, and community interaction by creating an outlet for small farmers and artisans to market locally produced food and crafts directly to consumers. The Market will provide a foundation for building partnerships among farmers, agriculturists, consumers, and the business community.
To reinforce the cultural and economic importance of supporting local farmers and the nutritional benefits of eating fresh, local, and sustainably foods, participating farms must be in the local region, specifically Douglas County, Georgia and adjacent counties, and must agree to adhere certified naturally grown or certified organic production standards.
